Philosophy

Our boutique hotel was created to provide a unique experience far from overdevelopment and as close as possible to Nature. Our guests can enjoy the astonishing diversity of the wildlife by following our tracks through the tropical jungle and observing the many birds, little mammals such as monkeys, raccoons, and coatis and even the larger felines and dear. There are also a wide variety of butterflies, such as the stunning Blue Morpho and reptiles in the likes of the green iguana and a myriad of birds, herons, oropendolas, parrots, toucans and macaws, and many more! World-known ornithologists have cataloged 280 different species within our private Natural Park at Costa Rica.

Committed

Our goal is to provide a truly tailored service to our guests to make their stay with us memorable. Enjoy Nature in our private reserve, visit the animals recovering in our rescue center and those released into nature, take part in the study of butterflies and their lifecycle and help with their conservation.

DON’T FORGET TO PLANT AN AUTOCHTHONOUS TREE AS PART OF OUR REFORESTATION PLAN!

Fauna and Flora conservation

Our buildings cover less than 1% of our 100 ha estate and we have used sustainable, local and natural materials. We have also implemented strategies to minimize our impact on Nature: we rely on septic tanks to treat our waste water so as not to pollute the forest or the rivers, we use as little electricity possible thanks to energy-saving light bulbs. We also have a 3.7 miles network of tracks to travel by foot or on horseback with designated spots to observe wildlife without interfering with their habitat.

We have recently created botanical gardens with orchids, bromelias and heliconias so that our guests can admire the most hidden species of our national Costa Rica flora.

One with Nature at Costa Rica

The 8 villas and 12 bedrooms are organized into three different blocks and provide our guests with luxurious accommodation, a unique Nature adventure experience far away from over-developed resorts and enough space to guarantee privacy.
